I’ve decided to take up this challenge of completing the bible once more from today, 7 JUN 2010, to 1.1.11
(that’s 28 weeks with 66 books!! need to complete 2.5 books per week!)
after completing the guided tour of the bible in army 3yrs back…
i’ve embarked on a new journey on 1Jan08(new yr resolution) to complete the whole bible (all 66 books) in 3yrs with a chapter a day plan.
1v27: God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
2v2: so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.
2v18: it is not good for the man to be alone.
2v14: be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh
2v15: the man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame

I put aside this book for some time in fear that it might be demotivational, meaningless, a chasing after the wind. reading it, i realised that it’s the pursuit of man trying to take control of the world and master everything that is meaningless. even wisdom is meaningless, but wisdom is better than folly.
Need to realise is that God is in control and so we to fear God by loving Him, and keep his commandments. Enjoy life while young.
64) Ezekiel (48 chapters)
-Ezekiel prophesied to the exiles in Babylonia. Israel’s fall and the need to repent. God gave him the exact time so that ppl will know that he is a true prophet. God will judge the foreign nations too. After 70 years of captivity, God will restore the people of God.
65) Zechariah (14 chapters)
-Zechariah encourage the ppl rebuilding the temple. He had various visions. He tells about the judgement on Israel’s enemies, and the coming of Christ.
66) Malachi (4chapters)
-3:8 robbing God in tithes and offerings..
